As no other, the bailiff knows how to deal with your debtors. He/she is aware of all possible problems in relation to debts and as such is in the perfect position to advise you on avoiding long-term outstanding accounts.
The support provided by the bailiff encompasses advice as well as action; in the form of demands for instance.
This is carried out in a very effective manner. Defaulting debtors quickly realise that they are unlikely to come out on top in a conflict with the bailiff, as he/she will also be the party who at a later stage will be at the door serving a writ or summons. Or even worse: the one to execute foreclosure or enforce a court judgement.
The bailiff always takes account of the fact that pressing your debtors for payment (in most cases) must not lead to a disruption of your business relations. He/she is after all also in business.
That is why bailiffs carry out their duties with tact; and in your interest.
